Leveraging the perks of National Cinema Day, where ticket prices were reduced to a modest Rs 99, “Jawan” made a dazzling display of its allure, amassing a remarkable total of Rs 633.78 crore within the Indian territory, as reported by industry tracker Sach nilk. But the story doesn’t end here; the production powerhouse, Red Chillies Entertainment, fostered by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, proudly proclaimed that the film’s magic has transcended borders, accumulating a staggering worldwide collection of Rs 1,132.13 crore.

On this particular Saturday, “Jawan” boasted an overall 13.88 percent Hindi occupancy, a testament to its enduring charm and pull among the masses. Even in the face of new cinematic contenders like “Mission Raniganj,” “The Vaccine War,” “Fukrey 3,” and “Thank You For Coming,” “Jawan” stood tall and unshaken, maintaining its grip on the box office throne.

As per the insights provided by Sacnilk, “Mission Raniganj” raked in approximately Rs 2 crore on this eventful Saturday, pushing its total collection to an admirable Rs 25.05 crore. Meanwhile, “Fukrey 3” managed to garner Rs 1.90 crore, elevating its cumulative earnings to Rs 87.79 crore within the Indian circuit.

In a celebration of “Jawan’s” success, Shah Rukh Khan, the charismatic protagonist, opened up about the arduous journey the film undertook over four years, a journey fraught with challenges primarily induced by the relentless COVID-19 pandemic. He lauded the relentless team that stood as the backbone of this cinematic masterpiece, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and countless sacrifices.

With a touch of emotion in his voice, he expressed, “Very seldom do we get this opportunity to live so many years with a film. ‘Jawan’ has been in the making for four years, of course, because of Covid and time constraints. There were so many people involved in this film, especially people from the South, who came and shifted to Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years, working day and night for this film. They have worked the hardest. Many people didn’t go home, they were here to make the film. Some people even had babies here, like my director Atlee
